ABOUT YOUR TEACHER: DANIELLE FOUSHEE
Danielle Foushee has been practicing yoga since 1999, when she happened upon her first class at a YMCA in Los Angeles. She immediately felt a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation, and was hooked! Yoga is like a full-body massage, from the inside out. After a few years of dabbling in different styles of yoga, Danielle found her yoga family at Mark Blanchard’s Power Yoga in Los Angeles. There, she was able to challenge body and mind with a level of strength that seemed to counteract the intensity of life and work.
As time passed, Danielle began a deeper study of yoga so that she could knowledgeably share the practice with others. She completed a teacher training course with Mr. Blanchard in 2006. Also in 2006, Danielle received her certificate of Vinyasa Krama Yoga under Srivatsa Ramaswami (who was a long-standing student of the legendary guru Krishnamachary) from Loyola Marymount University. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Yoga Works in Los Angeles with Natasha Rizopolous, and studied in the Yoga Works 300-hour Professional Program under senior mentor and yoga therapist Jasmine Lieb.
Danielle is currently studying Kundalini Yoga with Gurmukh and Tej Kaur of Golden Bridge Yoga in Los Angeles. She also studies ParaYoga with renowned teacher Rod Stryker.
Danielle’s liability insurance is provided by PIIC.
